The Medieval times was very devastating to most people.
The world was taken by suprise when oriental rats
spread across the land of China, carrying with
them black fleas that were later discovered to be
infested with a bacterium called Yersinia pestis.
They called this deadly desease the Bubonic Plague.

China was considered one of the busiest
trading ports in the world. It wasn't long after
chinda was infested that a docked ship trying to
flea from the deadly land, unknowingly transported
the rats to western Asia and Europe. In 1347,
Italian merchant ships docked in Sicily, most
passengers were dying from the Bubonic Plague. Not
long after the Plague passed along city and the
surrounding countryside.
br> "Realizing what a deadly disaster had come
to them, the people quickly drove the Italins from
their city. But the disease remained, and soon
death was everywhere. Fathers abandoned their sick sons.
Lawyers refused to come and make out wills for the dying.
Friars and nuns were left to care for the sick, and
monasteries and convents were soon deserted, as
they were sticken, too. Bodies were left in empty houses,
and there was no one to give them a Christian burial."

August 1347, the plague spread north to England.
Killing everyone in its path. Leaving it the
name "Black Death" because of the black spots it
left on th skin of it's victoms.
