A year has now come,
Since you have passed away.
Memories we cherish in our hearts,
Are more fonder with each day.
Alot has happened in our lives,
Since you have gone with Jesus.
We miss your laughter and the talks,
But still feel your love among us.
Another "Brat" has come along,
Sure wish you could of seen him.
Like any Great-Grandpa would be...
You would be proud- as with all of them.
The "Brats" still wonder where Papaw is,
We tell them with the Lord up above.
Watching over them every day,
And sending them all your love.
It seems like only yesterday,
That all your suffering was finally gone.
We know you are at peace now,
Some day together again, we will be as one.
