Employment Information

Job sites throughout the community are used for community based training. Students are encouraged to do a good job at the CBT sites so they can pursue a job at the business inthe future. The work transition teacher also works with Vocational Rehabilitation and Disabilities and Special Needs Board to locate jobs for students. The goal of the program is to have all graduating seniors employed or working with an adult agency prior to graduation.

Sites where students are employed or do community based training include restaurants, bookstores, florists, greenhouses, community agencies, daycares, adult daycares, auto service stations, custodial, general merchandise stores and car detail shops.
