Working together to make our students future successful

The work transitiion teacher will refer all seniors to Disabilities and Special Needs (DSN) and Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) as appropriate based on their qualifications. She will work with these agencies on a continual basis.

The Disabilities and Special Needs Board works with mentally disabled adults.
Teachers contact the school age job coach at DSN to come and do activities with their class

Vocational Rehabilitation works with students for job training.
The employability skills class tours the training center.

Seniors have the following people come to speak with them at the career center
Job corps representative
National Guard spokesperson
Special Needs Job Coach
Vocational Rehabilitation

Seniors will attend trips to the following places
Temporary Employment Agency
Employment Commission
Health Dept.

Juniors will have the following people come and speak with them at the career center
Adult education representative
Disabilities and Special Needs job coach
