The girls team finished first and the boys team was second to Fonda
Shen won the combined team competition

The meet started off with a bang for the Plainsmen as they won the first four relay events. The boys were victorious in the Freshman Sprint Medley Relay, as 8th grader Nick Jones ran a 54 for his 400 leg. The JV SMR also won, as Sean O'Brien ran a personal best 2:08 in the 800 leg. The 4x200 team won the third consecutive relay for Shen and the 4x800 team of Hansen, Horan, Lynch, and Slater made it four in a row with their 8:12 winning performance. Hansen ran the leadoff leg in 1:59.8, the fastest 800 split of the season for Shen and the first split under 2 minutes in either a relay or open 800.

In the 1600, Scott Schulte ran a 4:36 and Mark Gaedje ran 4:45. In the 400, Sam Silver ran a personal best 52.4 to finish 6th and Erik Ela ran a 53.7. In the 800, Hansen finished 3rd with a 2:07 and Darryl Slater was 5th with a 2:08.

In the first 3000 steeple chase of the season for Shen, Jeremy Relyea ran a team best 11:01 to finish 5th and Mike Hauser came in 7th with a 11:12. John Lynch was second in the 3200 with a 10:03.9. He ran a 4:58.7 for the first 1600. Nick Moyer ran a 10:45.1. Scotia's Tyler Raymond won the race with a 9:58.2.

In the high jump, Ammon Nelson jumped 5-10. In the pole vault, Chris Horlacher was second with a 12-6 vault and Chris Cooper was 4th with a 12-6.
