Those of you that know me, know what a Judds Fan I am. It started back in 1991 when I watched " The Judds, Farewell Concert " on television. I had been given the cassette " Love Can Build A Bridge " so I knew that I was going to like some of the songs that would be sung so I had Keith hook up the VCR and I taped the concert.



I literally wore that tape out watching it over and over. Santa did bring me a brand new copy for Christmas one year and it's about worn out to!! I relate to Wynonna, I call her my alter elgo. She shows outwardly the fire and passion that I have long ago lost inside this broken body of mine.



At the time of the concert, Naomi was dying from Hepatitis C and her future was bleak. The songs they sang were full of hope, trust, faith and the message that you have to take this life one day at a time, one step at a time and do the best and be the best that you possibly can.



Every time that old wolf would come knocking on my door and try and drag me down with him, I would pop that tape in and these girls through their music helped me get my head back together. I have been to 4 Wynonna Concerts and if you've read my personal story I talk about the boys literally carrying me up the stairs to see her on Mother's Day and I yelled " Happy Mother's Day " to her and she stopped and looked at me and said " Well Thank-you, and to you to! " Of course my boys died of embarassment but hey that's a Mother's job isn't it?



Today Naomi is in 100% remission and is starting a new tour with Wynona. I did not know that there was a Reunion Concert on tv tonight with them being united together on stage for the first time since the Farewell Concert. Ironically I was sitting here online working on Diane's Memorial Page so I am taping the concert and I am going to edit it onto the end of our reunion tape. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and when they are singing " Love Can Build A Bridge " I will be there with you in spirit holding your hand.
