~Where Are You Christmas?~

Where are you Christmas of long ago
When children gathered to often glow
Did you forget the joy in my heart
Or was it because I had to part
Mama and Papa are in their Heavenly Home
At times I feel so very alone
Then there are my heartfelt joys
My proud young men who once were boys

Where are you Christmas, did you forget me?
It seems now that I'm far from family
The stockings are hung at the fireplace
I can't hear the music nor see their face
Once again I think of Christmas long ago
It's in my heart, and I'll let it show

I remember the laughter and the tears
I remember Christmas of yesteryears
Where are you Christmas; I see the light
All the stars that shine so bright
Then I remember it did not change
It's only my life that I had to re-arrange
So let's remember that real reason
We celebrate this joyous season
The Christ child was born this Holy day
Christmas never leaves or goes away
Where are you Christmas is sung by Faith Hill.
