This is an eye opener;
probably we never thought nor looked at this 23rd Psalm in this way,
even though we say it over and over again.The Lord is my Shepherd-
That's Relationship!
I shall not want-
That's Supply!
He maketh me lie down in green pastures-
That's Rest!
He leadeth me beside the still waters-
That's Refreshment!
He restoreth my soul-
That's Healing!
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness-
That's Guidance!
For His name sake-
That's Purpose!
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death-
That's Testing!
I will fear no evil-
That's Protection!
For Thou art with me-
That's Faithfulness!
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me-
That's Discipline!
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies-
That's Hope!
Thou annointest my head with oil-
That's Consecration!
My cup runneth over-
That's Abundance!
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow all the days of my life-
That's Blessing!
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord-
That's Security!
Forever-
That's Eternity!
Face it, the Lord is crazy about you!
