Depressions in the rock face form Vernal Pools
which are filled with water part of the year.
Many plants and wild flowers can be found
growing there, especially Mosses, Lichens & Sedums.
The Red Lichens in some of the depressions
give the impression of a pool of blood.

Dogwood trees, and Mistletoe can be seen along the path.

Wisteria grows wild and fills trees and shrubs.
This is the place to stop and smell the flowers.
