STEP 1: Before cracks can be repaired they must be cleaned. For outdoor cracks, surface can be pressure washed by holding the nozzle of sprayer a few inches away from the crack. Once dry, they are ready for repair.

STEP 2: For indoor and outdoor jobs, the cracks can be cut open at least 3/8" - 1/2" deep using a hand held grinder with a diamond blade attachment.

STEP 3: Fill the cracks with Lanco Crack Repair Epoxy and silica sand mix. (Directions on the back of can). Using a squeeze bottle, fill crack with Lanco Crack Repair Epoxy, then press the sand into the cracks as deep as possible. Be careful not to spread the sand mix too wide on the surface.

STEP 4: After filling the cracks flush with the surface and the Lanco Crack Repair has reached its initial cure time, then use a 9" angle grinder with the 6" cup grinder attachment to mechanically remove excess sand/epoxy mix off the surface.

STEP 5: After grinding excess mixture with an angle grinder, check for any holes or sunken areas that may have surfaced and if necessary repeat steps 3-4.

STEP 6: You are now ready to apply any Lanco concrete overlay flooring system desired.
