We had an appointment today at 9:30 am and are in our 26th week! My blood pressure is 120/80 again and my urinalysis was clear. I have gained 1 pound, putting me at 5 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight. I am measuring at 24 cm, a little small by our due date but a little big for August 4th. A smaller baby could account for that difference, or so I've been told.

I noticed that I started leaking colostrum today. Not a lot unless I try to express it.. then there's quite a bit. I think I'll start wearing nursing pads in my bras.. I have no idea what to expect with this so I don't want to end up in the middle of the grocery store with a wet t-shirt. *grin*

We are now in our 29th week! Yay! We are finally in the third trimester! At today's appointment I was measuring 28 cm. so it looks like our little girl has finally decided to grow a little and catch up. *smile* I have gained 4 pounds since my last visit, bringing me to 1 pound under my original weight. My urine was clear and my blood pressure was once again 120/80. Baby's heartrate was 156. I am scheduled for a glucose tolerance test on May 14, 2001 and I'm not supposed to eat or drink anything after midnight on the day before. I go in at 9:00 am and while we're waiting the hour for the test we'll get another ultrasound. We can't wait to see our little one again!!

It's about time! I am finally starting to look like I'm pregnant! I know Andy insists that I have looked pregnant to him for a long time but I didn't look pregnant to me until just the last couple of days. Even now, if I wear certain dresses I just don't look as pregnant as I'd like to but when I wear capris and a t-shirt I definitely look it! Someone actually asked me if I was pregnant today for the first time... of course I was sitting in my OB-GYN's office at the time so it wasn't that much of a stretch but still.. I was pleased.

We went today with my mom to register for baby stuff at Babies R Us! It was a lot of fun.... we got a little handheld scanner and could just walk around saying "Ooh, we need that" to our hearts' content. We registered for a lot of little stuff and a few big things. All we really have is a crib, a dresser, a playpen and an infant seat so we need a lot in the way of shampoos and lotions and diapers and things like that. Our registry #33365413 and the resistry is available online at BabiesRUs.com, although the online page only updates once a week and the store registry updates immediately. In other words, if you see something you want to buy it's better to do it at the store to make sure it hasn't already been purchased.
