About Me

HartKeeper
This is my third year in keeping a website, and it comes with a grateful thanks to global friends worldwide who have inspired me to new friendships and international charm, communication and creativity.

I am a self-employed professional journalist with 35 years served mainly on radio and some newspapers in the Carolinas of the USA.

I also am happily married to a sweetheart born in Savannah, Georgia who grew up in Sumter, South Carolina. We have been married for 26 years plus...and have a lovely married daughter with two grands and a son who recently completed basic in the US Navy.

A native of Huntington, New York, I have always quipped that I was from Southern NY...and so really never established that true Yankee image. I've been in Dixie since 1963 and am proud to be a part of the scene both as TarHeel and Sandlapper ...and married to a Georgia peach!

I love people. I treasure many inner emotions, thoughts, secrets and experiences over a lifetime of 54 years, and so I can feel your pains and joys when I chat with you very clearly. I know, friends, there ain't no easy run.

Whether I do my work, or care for my family, or chat with anyone -- enemy or friend -- I have been raised and bred to be sensitive enough to realize that character matters. If you cross my path, I hope you will feel at home with The HartKeeper.

I also invite you to check my personal opinions and daily commentary, often with inspirational thoughts, addressed to the international chatworld at "HartKeeper"

Thanks for the visit and don't forget to scroll down and sign my guestbook or send me e-mail with your comments, reactions, and suggestions, please.
