Diane Swenson sent her mask to Cynthia Mayeaux and is currently off line. So Cynthia sent a reverse clue along with her comments.

Well now, I received my gourd today and it is
totally awesome. There was
no clue, because the person who sent it was
unable to post, sooooo, since
we didn't get to guess who was getting that
persons gourd, I'm gonna post a
clue and ya'll can try and guess who sent it to
me this is way
too much fun :-D

You're probably unaware that I'm a coon ass by birth, Baton Rouge, is the place I first landed on earth. This mask has feathers, some beads and some flash, a mardi gras lady, she's nowhere near trash.
You can see why it's perfect, it had to be fate, This person resides in the Bayou state.
Who sent me this pretty lady?
Cynthia (snicker tee hee)

Diane painted a beautiful lady-face in shades of pink. She's wearing an iridescent feather headdress with a gold braid head band
trimmed with royal purple beads. Some sparkling tassels hang down on each side of the face. She has green eyes (like mine) and lovely voluptuous lips. The painting is exquisite. Wish I could
shade like that.

About ten years ago a friend introduced me to gourds and as they say
"the rest is history". Ever since I was a small child I knew that I
wanted to paint. After years of going through many different mediums
and surfaces to paint on, I settled on gourds. To me they are so
versatile and I am fascinated by the different shapes. Its fun to get
a gourd and try to figure out how to paint it. My favorite thing to
paint is Santa. I live in Louisiana with my husband of 39 years and
have four grandchildren. I am a self taught painter and am continually looking for ways to improve my painting.

During my many years of painting I have tried many different things and I think that painting on gourds has to be my favorite. Although Santas are my favorite thing to paint, I have lately started to branch out into painting and also crafting other types of things on gourds. I am a self taught painter and knew from the time I was a small child that painting was what I really wanted to do. I got side tracked for many years in which we raised two daughters and traveled in the Air Force. When the daughters were married and gone, I quit my 9 to 5 office job to devote myself full time to my art. I have lived in Louisiana for 32 years with my husband Ralph of 39 years.
