Kathy Halleran sent this clue:
Out of a cocoon from Pennsylvania,
Does this bright colored mask arise,
On its way to the Tuber Kingdom,
To be a Sweet Surprise.
Her mask went to Susan Snow:
Oh my did I ever get a wonderful surprise in the mail
today. Kathleen
Halleran sent me the most exquisite painted butterfly mask with
two
beautiful fairies painted on the wings above the eye holes which
are
gilded in gold lace. It is hard to describe but the whole mask
is a butterfly
(you will just have to wait to see the picture of it), but my
husband
and I oohed and awed for 5 minutes when it arrived and as I told
Kathleen, I
spent another five minutes finding its final resting spot of honor
on
my dining room wall. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Kathy's bio:
Kathy Halleran--Indiana Pa.-- kathy007@wpia.net
My husband and I moved to the country to retire [in
a few months] and we
love it. I have 6 children and 18 grandchildren. I have been
doing
crafts all of my adult life but only found gourds about 2 years
ago and they
have become my favorite thing to work with but it helps to have
a variety of
craft interest which allows me to experiment with the gourds.
I
particularly love to paint and before the gourds I painted a lot
of
animals on rocks and I still enjoy that. I think I enjoy anything
that I get to
paint on . I think one of the reasons that I enjoy the gourds
so much lately
is because of the gourd patch and being able to share with others
and learn
from them.
