    5555 Tim Drake is the son of Dr. Jack Drake who along with his mother Janet Drake were kidnapped by the Uru Man. Seeking out help Tim used his computer to get help from Batman and learned that he was in fact Bruce Wayne and was in fact able to locate him. Bruce was at first denying the truth of that he was in fact Batman and then when he heard what happened decided that he would help him out. When found Uru Man had poisoned both Tim's parents and his mother was dead and his father paralyzed. When they took on the Uru Man Tim helped fight and showed Batman that he was a really good and talented fighter.

    Wanting to use Tim as his new side-kick he revealed that Tim had in fact been able to figure out who Batman was. In order for his training to get started Bruce sent Tim off to China where he would train with Lady Shiva. In his training Tim became very skilled in using the bo as well as martial arts and learned fairly quickly. In his return Tim was given the costume as well as identity of Robin and stood by Batman's side. This Robin though could take care of himself as shown in their various battles with the crime of Gotham.

    During the Knightfall storyline Robin was helped by Nightwing who was once himself a Robin until he was forced to give-up that guise. Nightwing acted as sort of a big brother to Tim and helped him learn to deal with Batman's various moods. Now, Robin is even better then before and as long as he's on Batman's side he's truly a great asset to him.

    During the Ebola-A Virus outbreak in Gotham Robin not only had to deal with all the death around him, but also the fact the he caught the virus himself. He grew extremely ill and nearly died, but fortunately Azrael found the cure and saved the life of Robin. This was not the end of it though as Ra's Al Ghul with the help of Bane was about to send the virus again, but with the combined efforts of Batman, Nightwing, and Robin they were able to prevent the second coming of a virus.

    Things seemed okay in Gotham for awhile until a large Earthquake struck the city leveling most of it, but at the time he wasn't in the city, but was in France getting more training. When he returned he was shocked to discover how much damage there was to the city. He aided in the rescuing of several people including his own father whom was trapped in their house. This seemed to help the city somewhat, but it was still in bad shape. Recently, he learned that his girlfriend the Spoiler was pregnant by an ex-boyfriend, so Robin has decided to stick by her except for one problem, she can't know who he is.

    Later on Robin joined the team of young heroes known as Young Justice containing Robin, Superboy, Impulse, and more. This team was formed after a mysterious event left all those under 16 in one world and all those 16 and over in another world. They were able to put things right later on when it was learned that it was caused by a boy named Bedlam. With all this going on in his life we can all see that Robin is perhaps one of the better young heroes out there.
