Heather Lakin Lemon
Heather was born in Falls Church, Virginia on November 2, 1979 to Thomas Lemon and Cosette Shackett. She has two younger brothers, Colin Thomas, age 17, and Joseph Zebulon, age 12, and one younger sister, Hilary Suzannah, age 10.
When Heather was 4, the family moved to Greenville, SC, where her mother grew up and where her parents first met while attending Furman University. Heather attended Haynsworth Private School, Duncan Chapel Elementary, Stone Elementary, Sevier Middle School and Greenville Senior High, graduating in June of 1997 at the age of 17.
She worked for a summer as a waitress at Athens Family Restaurant. After the restaurant closed down, Heather secured a job at Greenville Floral Company, where she became a Certified Floral Designer.
Soon after obtaining her G'ville Floral position, Heather met and fell in love with Andy. They moved in together in the summer of 1998 and have been nearly inseperable ever since.
In the summer of 1998, Heather's parents divorced, and on March 3, 1999, Heather's mother remarried Terence Shackett, adding him and his two children, Matt and Brandi, to the family.
Heather hopes to attend the College of Charleston and attain an English degree in the next few years. Writing is her true passion; she writes whenever she gets the chance. (Note: she isn't particularly good at writing about herself in the 3rd person.)
Her other passions include reading, computer gaming, traveling and gardening. She enjoys growing flowers from seed and maintaining a private "oasis" for herself and Andy. When not gardening or reading, you can probably find Heather in front of the computer, surfing the web or playing Ultima Online with Andy and Colin.
A nature girl at heart, Heather also enjoys spending time with Andy on one of their many day-outings. Her favorite places to go are Charleston, SC (her favorite place in the world), Hendersonville, NC and Table Rock State Park.
Andrew Lee O'Brien
Andy was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 5, 1978 to Gerald O'Brien and Janice O'Brien. He has one older brother, James Thomas, age 24.
Andy attended Mount Vernon Presbyterian and Woodward Academy, graduating in June of 1997 at age 18.
Andy currently attends Furman University and is in his Junior year. He is an English major who writes stunningly good poetry and short stories.
Andy hopes to tranfer to College of Charleston and obtain an English degree there within the next two years. He also hopes to obtain a technical writing position (preferably at a gaming magazine).
Andy's hobbies include writing, reading (Discworld, Star Wars pulp novels and Stephen King) and computer gaming. In fact, Andy is solely responsible for getting Heather so addicted to the computer. Andy spends his free time surfing the web for every little scrap on information on when Diablo II is EVER going to come out. *smile* He also plays a mean game of Age of Empires II and Ultima Online, among others.
Although he'd hate to admit it, Andy enjoys day-tripping as much as Heather does (he just hates to lose the game time), and one of their favorite things to do together is lay on Sullivan's Island with a good book and each other's company.
