I have created this site to share my family, my thoughts, my pain and tears, and especially the joys in my life with all of you! I am 32, and have learned the most important thing in life is FAMILY. I had to learn it the hard way at times, but I certainly have it drilled in my head by now. I have had many sorrows to deal with as well as my family, but we are only able to come thru any of it because we belive in GOD, we believe in Jesus, and we belive in the Holy Spirit. I am not a religious phanatic, as a matter of fact, I havent been to church in years. I am certainly not proud of that, but to be honest with you, I have alot of anger in my heart. I dont blame God for anything that has ever happened to me, but I dont feel right when I enter his house with my heart filled with anger. Some day soon, I will be right with the Lord, and I hope I am not too late. I do believe in his POWER, and I do KNOW that he loves me, and someday, I might just pull my head out of my butt and show Him how much I truly do love Him back!!
We have become a family, over the years, by adding people, and parts as we went along. That is what a family is, strangers that have come together by the bonds of love........
Families only grow bigger it seems, but sometimes they grow smaller, or certain branches of our family do. It is never easy, and as you will see while surfing this site, sometimes many things can hit a person all at once, and can affect so many people in their wake. I am very proud of the heart and soul I have put into this website, for others to enjoy, learn from, and come away from it, hopefully wiht a more positive outlook on life, but most importantly to look around them and see that our lives are what we make of it, and how we overcome bridges that are thrown in our paths.....

This is me, My name is Stacy L. Scanlan (Moody), I am 32 yrs old, and I work for the Commander of the Fort Irwin, California DENTAC, US ARMY. I am originally from Santa Maria, CA, home of the famous Tri-Tip BBQ. I am a wife of a GI, a Veteran of the US Army, and also a Veteran of the Persian Gulf War. I am sick from my service in the war, and for those of you who are wondering, YES I would do it again, and YES, I would still die for my country, in a minute!!
This is where I currently live. This picture was taken atop Tiefort Mountain looking down on the military base I live on at Fort Irwin, California. For people who HATE the desert, its not always so ugly, I live in a very beautiful place.
