Hey I'm Scottie and im lead vocals and guitar for my band, Interrogating the Peanut. I thought of the name last year when my friend had a comic called "Cattle Prod Boy" and in one of his "Adventures" he was always shocking a Peanut. So I thought, hmm. Interrogating the Peanut would kick ass for a band name. No one would ever thing of it and its funny. At the time, I didn't have a band, wanted one, but didn't have one. As the year went on, I continued playing Ryosukes, my bassist's and ex-roommate from 9th grade, guitar. I didnt own one yet but I quickly "learned by ear" on his. Bearing the end of the year I got a cheap Right Handed guitar and re-strung it backwards since I was left handed. It looked dumb, but it worked. Looking for a drummer who knew how to play punk, I found Max. I never talked to him much but im very happy he agreed to play drums for us at a school Coffee House. I was thrilled that he could play and so well at that, it definatly made us better friends. At that time I had a few songs I wrote on the guitar and lyrics so it was just a matter of practice and teaching the other band members. After learning the song and playing it at the show, we thought we could acually be a pretty desent band if we tried. So the 3 of us Agreed to sign up for band practice for the fall trimester activity. And we are doing pretty well. As far as I go, Im 17, Likes most music but *most*Rap and *all*Country.My fav bands are Millencolin, Catch 22, Seti Alpha 6, MXPX, Misfits,Pennywise, and Desendents.
