STAR WARS
At my Aunt Karen's wedding reception, I walked in the living room of the hostess' house and found my cousins and some of the other kids putting in a movie. I sat down to watch. They played all three of the Star Wars movies, and I loved it! When I got home, I found a copy of "A New Hope" that my mother had recorded off the TV, and I watched it. When it was over, I was surprised. At first, I thought that all three movies were one movie, since I had seen them together. I searched for the second one and watched it. Then I looked for Return of the Jedi. We didn't have it. I had to wait three days to see it!!! I can't imagine how people felt when they had to wait five years to see episode six!!!

Since then, (1992 or 1993), I've been obsessed with Star Wars. In high school, I would think of the asteroid field song while going through the corridors, dodging the slow walkers. I was Luke Skywalker for Halloween when I was fifteen, (1995). Between 1992-or-3 and 1997, I actively searched for Star Wars stuff. Then the movies were rereleased, and it became easier. Actually, I got frustrated when they were rereleased. People who had one made fun of me for liking Star Wars were now obsessing over it, just because it was cool. It got even worse when episode one came out.

The Star Wars trilogy is basically a story about a boy from a farm in the middle of nowhere who rises from his station in life. He travels all over the galaxy, saves people, and becomes a hero. That's why Luke is my favourite character. When watching the trilogy, you see him growing up.

I also like episode one, but it will always be second to the trilogy in my mind. There's no way to beat the trilogy; it is the best set of movies EVER made. You can argue with me, but I've got my ears plugged.

Now that you've heard about my Star Wars obsession, you can return to my media page or you can go home to DREAM!
