(1) 7:00 AM Col. Wickler Captures Union Camp while Yankees eat breakfast. Taking only 100 prisoners. (2) 8:47 AM Wickler pushes Col. Allison back, while union holds the rebs at bay for 4 hours, untill finally dugin enough to hold the rest of the battle. (3) 8:53 AM 26th N.C. and 1st Louis. Approach Union Position to draw off reinforcements to TSC Turnpike. (4) 9:00 AM 4th US Regulars holds open position against oncomming rebs for six hours without receiving reinforcments untill , Also defending 4th Battery. (5) 10:35 Reb Reinforcements March in to help in forcing the 4th out of their strong position. And flank the Union fort. (6) 1:08 PM Union Troops push rebs back to Shotgun Bridge, sends out skirmishers to probe the lines. (7) 3:28 PM Union Reinforcements arrive from Ft. Steilacoom, to reinforce the 4th US. (8) 4:44 PM Lt. Fagan's Signal post, signals for more reinforcements. Battle ended at 7:34 PM Both sides very tired after a long day of Fighting, Union emerge victorious but at an apalling cost.

Union: Dead: 9,344 Wounded: 4,123 Missing: 1,567

Confederates: Dead: 7,789 Wounded: 2,475 Missing: 1,724
