VISIBLITY, this is the focal point of our organization this year. Hello, I’m Mutya Lazaro and if I’m not yet impeached by March, I am the ACheS president for the year. Anyways, our plan for the year is a mixture of old and new. Traditional projects such as the Buddy System (which is an opportunity for freshmen to get acquainted socially and academically in Ateneo by providing a Kuya or Ate for him/her) and Chem Connections (a semester quiz bee) will be pushed through as well as a new batch of fresh ideas like Kapnayan (an educational board) and various fundraising events are what’s in store this year. As I’ve written visibility is our main concerns, for the freshmen, don’t worry we are not an exclusive org, although we could be considered as a one big barkada. We are a heterogenous blend of fun and work and it is high time that people of even un-Chem orientation see that.

We don’t just bombard you with chemistry information; we give you a family and a place to put your good ideas into use. We are open to radical suggestions or even simple activities that you would like to share.
