This is a FREE proggy created for the ol' fans of Blizzard :)

I am NOT responsible for any damage or disadvantage this s/w should cause.
You should ONLY use this s/w when you see fit legal...
(since i can't buy you a good lawyer :()

I really love all the great games of Blizzard...but
some people would think,
"why would someone bother'em, when they like'em"....
because FREE is my word :)
it isn't "abuse", it isn't "waste"....it's "FREE"
Information should be free(if they fit so, and not useless :).
--- and i do it for fun too :)

This is a duplication of what some people has done,
but just one more thing is that this is made with C(C++ exactly:).
blizzard blocked some ways of calling the dll dynamically.
we needed another path to use it with C.
and that's done.

this doesn't need any MSVB5 runtime...or anything like it..
since this is made with bare c++(from windows 98)
i don't know whether this will act the same on windows 95...
(as for my experience, it should :)

i wanted to take some time and make this more useful,
and better to use...but i didn't have the time...:(
so i release this as a lame version....with no promises :(
only for a "oh, someone managed to do this".

i included a storm.h and a storm.cpp.
it has the main functions(a class called CStorm)
for opening and reading MPQ files..
so if you think this is useful...you may modify it...
tear it apart...kiss it or whatever....
just give me some credits....:)

since i'm not a GREAT programmer :O i didn't make the class CStorm
quite "general-purpose"-ish...so please don't rave and rant
to me....saying "WHY ARE YOU SO LAME !!"

to use this:
 - you need a modified storm.dll
this is NOT the same one that's in the game package.
you need to modify the dll so that it doesn't block the call.
so i don't recommend copying this to the starcraft dir :(
 - since i didn't put the FileOpen/SaveDialog for sc_data.txt
it should always be in the same dir. AND
this will save the files only into the same dir too :P
that means the File Menu's "Open List" item is a fake one :)

hope:
 - to upgrade this so this doesn't look lame :P
 - to extend this to analyze and view all the format MPQ contains
 - some Reverse Engineering Guru sends me mail and teaches me GREAT THINGS :)
AND help me make a MPQ creator :)
 - my english gets better :( sorry for the poor english folks...

thanx goes to:
 smims@hotmail.com(for making MPQ View 1.1b)
& ted@lyncon.se(for the starcrack mailing list)
 & KOREA(i'm korean, i love korea)
 & Seri Pak(for the great performance) :P
