My name is Sorinel Lucian Scortan;

I was born on the 1st of February, 1972, in Craiova, a town in the South Western part of Romania;

I am 100% pure Aquarius;

In 1990 I've graduated "Fratii Buzesti" High School, in Craiova;

In 1995 I've graduated University of Craiova, Faculty of Automation, Computers and Electronics;

In 1996 I've graduated the post university course of Automation Control Systems at the same faculty;

From February to June '93 I've got a Tempus scholarship to  ECAM Brussels (Belgium);

From 1995 to 1997 I've worked in different companies in Craiova, especially in desktop publishing and accounting departments;

August '97 - August 2000 - I've worked as analyst programmer to Daewoo Information Systems Romania

In December '97 I've graduated Daewoo Software Development Methodology course in Seoul (South Korea), a Daewoo methodology about planification, analysis, design and implementation of Information Systems;

From September '99 to November '99 I worked as Analyst Consultant at the analysis and implementation of the MFG/PRO After Sales module at Daewoo Motor Egypt;

From August 2000 to October 2001 I worked as Software Engineer at Living Systems AG. The major project so far is a B2B project for German agricultural market, Agrion.com.
Other project was a CRM web site, E-Works. See it at CEO AG.

From November 2001 to October 2004 I worked as Software Engineer and Project Manager at SecureNet SRL Craiova. The major projects so far were web portals, like:

- PrimariaCraiova.ro - Craiova's city hall web portal
- Bals.ro - Bals city web portal
- Olt County Council web portal
- Dolj county web portal
- Filiasi city web portal
- PRW Munich lawyers office web portal

Since October 2004, I work as Project Manager for web projects at CS AEIC SA Craiova, a Romanian subsidiary of Communication & Systèmes, a French leader IT company in the fields of real-time control systems, virtual reality, air traffic control software, aerospatial systems and software engineering.

In June 9, 2002, I celebrated my wedding with my love, Daniela.

My hobbies are: history, geography, psychology, reading, sports, cinema, literature. I like very much all Discovery Channels. I love a lot to travel, to meet nice people from all over the world, so I'm waiting for your e-mails with links to your home pages!
