The Commodore sat in his command chair watching the docking proceedures, as they approached Deep Space 9. Turning around to face Communication's station on the cramped Battle Bridge, "It will be nice to get off this ship for a while and actually have a bridge when I return" Timm thought to himself. "Communication's, hail DS9" Timm asked "Aye Sir" came the reply. A few second's went by and the next person on the forward view screen was that of Captain Benjiman Sisko. "Ben, good to see you, we were in the nieghborhood, thought we'd stop by" jested the Commodore, wich is something they could do as they spent some time on the same starship project at Utopia Planatia in orbit around Mars. "Timm it's a pleaseant suprise" responded Sisko "You guy's get roughed up on the way?" "Yeah, a little bit but thank's goes to the Romulan's on that one, helped pull us out of the frying pan......" Timm paused for a beat " speaking of frying pan, what's up for dinner?" Sisko started laughing and replied " I have some left over Gumbo, but I'm not cooking you dinner..." Timm snapped his finger's if to say "Damn!", "Alright....so permission to dock at upper pylon 3?" "Permission....granted..welcome to DS9, see you on station...Sisko out.." The main view screen blipped back to a view of DS9. The Commodore stood up out of his chair. Tugged on the bottom of his uniform and informed the Cheif that she had the bridge, and headed twards the make shift ready room. =/\= =/\= =/\= =/\= As the Commodore walked in to the ready room, he started to come in on a heated discussion between the Fleet Admiral and Kbee...something about miss use of a Klingon Cloaking device. Timm made his way to the replicator..."Coffee, hot, two cream's, two sugar's" he commanded. He reached in and grabbed another cup of coffee.."Got to cut down, on the the caffine...." Timm thought to himself...grinning. Surveying the arguement..err...discussion, Timm moved to the back of the room silently sipping on his coffee, waiting for the perfect moment (as he alway's does) too add his two cent's worth. "Listen, for a sec both of you.." Timm waited till he had thier full attention "Cliff listen, she had to, it was the only way...we don't need to lose great officer's to a treaty year's old.." his voice going up a few octives "in a time of war...you do what you need to do to get the Job done...and I know that we are starfleet officer's, but sometimes the rules need to be bent..." he stopped in hopeing that his rant was going to pay off and they'd stop the bickering. The door chime rang. "Come" the three of them said at the same time, they stopped and looked at each other. "Well, it is my ready rooom....enter" Timm said breaking the momentary silence. The door moved open and the Chief Engineer walked in. "Sir, were docked and the major repair's are already underway, the new bridge module is underway from Mars, and should be here in the next few day's" pausing for a beat...noticing that everyone in the room was of flag officer rank..she started to sweat...Flag officer's made her nervous.."umm....Captain. Sisko would like to meet with you, as soon as you have the time" Timm thanked the Chief, as she walked back out to the battle bridge. Turning, Timm looked at Kbee and the Fleet Admiral. "Well, I have some thing's to do on station..." pausing he picked up a padd from his desk " and by the look's of thing's Vice Admiral..the Mariner is docking as we speak, so if you'll excuse me..." setting his now empty coffee cup down, he turned and headed for the nearest turbo lift, and head straight to the sonic shower's in his quarter's.

The FAdm turned to VAdm Kbee, "boy he don't wast anytime, says whats on his mind and walks out." The VAdm just nodded," yep that he does."
"Anyway back to what we were talking about. I understand your part of this with the Cloaking device but you have to understand mine. I walk a tough rope here, and I tell you that this one could either back fire on us or not even be noticed, lets hope it's not noticed. My report to the Council will be one I think you will like Kbee. As I said earlier to you I want to use cloak since the war is not going very well for us, So I will word it so you shall be cleared, I am going to take the heat on this one and let you ride. You are one of my best officers VAdm Kbee, and I won't let you fall for this or take any heat. You did what you thought was right, and as a Flag Officer you did what you thought was right by protecting your ships. To be honest if I was in your shoes I would have done the samething." The FAdm paused a sec to look at Kbee *************************************************************************
CRASH, tink, tink . . . "There goes another tray of glasses" Quark thought to
himself as he added thier price to his ongoing tally. " Your really going to
pay this time, Admiral Paradis." The bar was in an odd chaos. There were
isolated brawls, easlily broken up by security and there were tables where it
looked like brawling, but were actually people just blowing off steam.
"Don't worry, Quark, I can afford it." Admiral Paradis said as she gave
Quark's ear a reassuring stroke.
As she sat at the bar, she surveyed the havoc that was ensing. Her cadets and
officers had a rought time. What started out as a training mission had turned
into involvement in the war. Something some of her cadets were not really
ready for. There had been some casualties and with the loss of crew as well as
the loss of the Nazgul, her people needed this release. So Adm A* had rented
out Quark's just for her people.
True, they had been granted the Prometheus class Nazgul-A, but it was still
hard to give up the old ship. It was like giving up an old friend.
Adm A* calmly sipped her wine and listened to the sound of glass breaking and
Quark's datapadd add up the damages. "Just hope the FAdm does not hear about
this" she though to herself. "This kind of training is not exactly in the
Starfleet manuels."

She nodded her head, and rose her eyebrows.
"I hear the cadets are at Quarks, so fancy a drink?"
The FAdm Nodded and they left the ready room and headed on to DS9.
Quark was as usual an eloquent host, as he ducked the glasses being thrown by the cadets.
Kbee raised her drink, and called for a toast. All the officers and cadets, and anyone else who had happened to sneak in joined in.
"To the Federation, may we live long and prosper, and may the prophets guide us."
They drank, and were merry.

The FAdm raised his glass, " here here, and lets not forget those who has laid down there lives for the Federation. We have one a major VICTOR and you all are a credit to the Fleet ", as he ducked to miss a glass that went flying by.
The end of this mission.
