UL: The father of the gods. Creator of the Universe. His color is white. Fond of the form of an albatross. God of the Ulgos. Was persuaded to become the God of the Ulgos by Gorim.
ALDUR: Eldest of the seven gods. His color is blue. He rules over the Vale of Aldur in southern Algaria. He chose no people in order to contemplate the universe and because of his task. He polished the Orb and breathed life into it. He has nine disciples, all of whom are immortal sorcerers (not counting Zedar).
MARA: Weeping God of the Marags. All of his children were killed by Tolnedran invaders looking for gold. Some survived and were sold into slavery in Cthol Murgos. Mara set the ghosts of his slain children to haunt Maragor to keep everyone away from the gold.
NEDRA: Lion-God of the Tolnedrans. His children are very skeptical and do not believe in sorcery. In fact many believe that the gods and all forms of magic are tricks and legends. His children do possess one of the best armies in the Legions and one the most efficient systems of roads in the world.
ISSA: Serpent-God of the Nyissans. His color is green. He was shocked to the core by the cracking of the world and has spent most of the time since then sleeping. His children are ruled over by his high priestess Salmissra.
CHALDAN: Bull-God of the Arends. His children are known throughout the world for their bravery but unfortunately not for their intelligence. His children are also constantly fighting with one another.
BELAR: Bear-God of the Alorns. He is the youngest of the gods. Impulsive and congenial. He despises Torak for what he did. His children are the masters of the horse and the sea.
TORAK: Dragon-God of Angarak. Child of Dark. His color is black. Once the handsomest of the gods, his hand is gone and his face is horribly burned as a result of his using the Orb to crack the world. Now conceals his face behind a steel mask. He is the result of the accident which divided the purpose of the universe. His priests (Grolims) practiced ritual human sacrifice. Slain by Belgarion.
ERIOND: New God of Angarak. His totem will probably be the horse. His color is light blue. Before having his godhood revealed, he was used by Zedar to steal the Orb from the Hall of the Rivan King. was supposed to be the god of the Angaraks from the beginning of time but was temporarily replaced by Torak because of the accident.
