Bacteria Personified Assignment

 

Objective: Demonstrate your knowledge of bacteria, particularly how and where they function in the body by creating a short story (2 pages, double-spaced 12-point font) written in the first bacteria POV.

 

Step 1: Research

 

Do some research on bacteria. Choose online websites with urls ending in .edu or reputable medical websites. There are benign (good) bacteria and malign (bad) bacteria. Choose one particular bacterium on which to focus your research.

 

Draw a quick sketch of the bacterium.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Describe the physical appearance of the bacterium using interesting adjectives and a simile or metaphor.

 

Step 2:

Characterization - Personalize and personify your bacterium. Give your bacterium human characteristics or abilities.
