I was sitting in my SAT class, just trying to kill time. I had 30 measly minutes left 'til i escape from these walls. I had to get out of there, I had to go, I was going to meet my destiny, the day that many of mindless, drooling geeks had been waiting thier lives for. I am one of those geeks.
Finally I got out of that class. I walked out of the building, and across the parking lot to Pest's car. Me, Pest and into the climbed into the car and tore out of the parking lot back to Pest's house. We basically sat around until 5 pm. We left the house to meet our destiny at the theater. We got there at about 5:30 Pm and had a pretty descent place in line. I stood around back there until i saw some guys playing magic.
I wandered up there and sat down to watch the game. I basically just stayed there, cutting in front of about 20 people. Heh-Heh-Heh. We sat around there and hung out with some guys behind us, talking about breaking in stuff in K-mart.
Finally the theater opened and all the rabid little wookies rushed forth to receive thier tickets to heaven. I got ticket number 40. We left to go to Pest's house to waste time until the movie. We crashed in the room and jammed on the guitar for a while. At 9:00 we left for the theater. We got there early and hung out in front with a kid in a cardboard Boba Fett costume. I was bored so I told everyone that Obi-wan dies.
When the doors opened, Me, Pest, Twinki, Josh, and Ken ran in to get our favorite seats, 3rd row, center. We got our seats and sat there until the movie started. Once the movie started I was in heaven. I'll tell you what i remember, which won't be much, i was in a fanboy trance the whole time.
I liked how it began, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon went to talk and the aliens overreacted. Some parts of the movie dragged, but every saga has to start somewhere. The podracer scenes were awesome. THe final duel was the coolest thing i have ever seen. I didn't like the ending too much though.
I don't think i put this in earlier, but we went to the midnight show, the 1st one. Well, I had school the next morning. The movie was over at 2:30 am. i got home at 3 am and went to sleep at 4. That gave me 2 and a half hours of sleep. Stuff got kinda crazy the next day. Like me falling down in the hall, or falling asleep in sitting up in Econ. and falling out of my chair.
