CREATING A PAGEMOVE IMAGE

HOW TO TRANSLOAD
ANGELFIRE has it's own transloader,

located at the bottom of your webshell page. Very fast and easy to use! Enter a URL, rename (or not) and click, your done!

Or ~ FTP with a transloader

Domania Freeloader
OR
Transloader.com
Here's how

Enter FTP Server info: ftp.angelfire.com

USER NAME:
your Angelfire login name
EX:    nj/car

PASSWORD:
your Angelfire password
EX:    ford

DIRECTORY:
OR
UPLOAD DIRECTORY:

Enter name of directory you wish to put the image in;
EX: images. xmas, cat, mid

RENAME:   to whatever you want,
don't forget to add .gif  .jpg  .mid etc. at the end.

OK you transloaded,
now lets go find the images!

In left center of your Angelfire Webshell Page
you will see your list of
FILES
Highlight and click on /images
hit Scroll-up button. Next, click on OPEN DIRECTORY:
You will now see a list of all the gifs in your /image file!

Highlight and cilck on gif you want
Click on VIEW FILE to see image.
(Hit goto box to get URL to C&P if needed.)

To put /image file away:
click on the 'TINY SQUARE' above top left corner of your file list. (hard to find, the first time!)
This should bring you back to the directory of files.

Other tricky things to remember: All .HTML Pages are called files and opened with "VIEW FILE"or "EDIT".
All Directories, ie: /images  /mid etc are opened with "OPEN DIRECTORY". The images, midis etc in your directories are also refered to as "FILES" and are viewed by clicking "View Files".

DIRECTORIES

In your FILE list you should have index.html page
and an /images directory.

No need to have all of our images in
one huge file. We are able to make as many
directories that are needed to organize everything!

Located under the list of Files you will see;

Create A New File  Directory

Click on directory. Next, type in the name of the new directory.
EX: xmas
now click on CREATE
Your new Directory is now in your FILE list, ready to move into!

MOVING AN IMAGE

In your FILE list, highlight and click on /images.
Click on OPEN Directory
Highlight and click on GIF you wish to move
Click on MOVE
You will be taken to a page with a list of all your directories. Click on the one you want to move the GIF into.

NOTE:I have found that subdirectories can be made while in another directory. but this will result in a longer URL

EX: when created from the FILES area
you will get /xmas
so the end of the URL would be /xmas/tree.gif

BUT when created while in another directory, ...
Ex: /images you will get /images/xmas
so the URL would end with:
/images/xmas/tree.gif

CREATING A WEB PAGE

Located under the list of files you will see

Create A New: file: subdirectory:

Click on File. Next, type in a name for the new page.
remember it Must end in .html
EX:indexangel.html or angel.html
now click on CREATE --- on next page chose 'basic editor' or 'advanced' then click on 'Submit'. NOTE: if this is your first web page, read Angelfires instructions for difference in basic and advanced editors.
now you are ready to build your page.Remember to click Save when you are done. It will appear in yor file list. No need to do it all at once, you can View & Edit as much as you want!

One last note: Angelfire & all servers requier that you have an index.html page! This should be your "home page".

I hope this will be helpful to someone!
Now go get some new directories 'under construction'!(grin)
