A white-robed Chief druid, who addressed the assembly “In the face of the Sun, the eye of Truth”, gave early masses before the country folk.
The General format:
-Held on Sun-day (the seventh day)
-Incense, or a fire, was offered
-A unison Invocation was spoke
-Music and sacred songs were offered
-A "Recitation from Legend" was offered
-An offering was made to the four elements
Fire (South)= Incense (burn)
The sacred colour is Red or White.
Air (East)= Flowers (scatter)
The sacred colour is Yellow/Gold.
Water (West)= Wine (drown)
The sacred colour is Blue or Silver.
Earth (North)= Bred/Salt (bury)
The sacred colour is Green or Black.
The offerings were made to gain favor with the elemental beings.
