First
Understand that the body
Consists of the four elements;
It speaks to the disciple
By way of instruction and exhortation.
So leave not the with which you are divinely clothed,
In the inferior world.
Second
Understand that things divine
Cannot be obtained by mortals whose intellect
Is directed to the body alone.

Only those
Who are stripped of their garments
Arrive at the summit.
