3 Herbs:
-Oak Leaves (one gallon)
-Primrose Flowers (one handful)
-Golden Pipes (one handfull)
Special Water:
-Morning Dew
Procedure:
Pit fresh, green Oak Leaves into large basin along with the other herbs (fresh, if possible).
Pour 10 cups boiling water over the lot, cover with cloth, and leave for 12 hours.
In a large cooking crock, ad six cups Honey to 10 cups water, brining to bil until all is disolved, then add strained herb mixture.
(Add Dew here if for ritual use.)
Cool to blood-warm (less then 70 degrees F) and add one ounce good yeast.
Cover and leave to ferment 2 weeks.
Carefully ladle out into bottle, pack in sand and cork lightly.
Tighten caps when fermentation quiets.
[Note: Chamomile may be substituted for Golden Pipes, and Red Rose Buds for Primrose if necessary.]
