The flower of the mind
Is the singular ear of the soul,
And within the universal mind
Lies that meadow of sublimest symphonies.
Here sing the many trees of virtue:
Seven times the tree worlds of the spirit.

Likewise the ‘Tree of Life,’
Which is the plant of divine illumination.
Strive to eat of its fruit
Whose gifts are Virtue, Wisdom and Truth;
But such wisdom stands alone as the Giver of Songs,
Which the Divine Mind reveals only as
Silence…
