Grounding and Centering:

Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Fill your lungs to their deepest capacity, hold it for a few seconds and exhale, expelling all of the air, completely. Repeat this again, feeling the air refresh and cleanse you.

Open your hands so your palms face upward, your arms at your sides. Begin to raise your arms upwards, toward the sky. Open your eyes, lifting them to the heavens Embrace the stars. You are in the Goddess position. Become one with Her. Attune and commune with Her.

Now slowly, lower your arms, and bring your feet together, until you are standing with your feet at a 45-degree angle. Close your hands into fists, and cross your arms over your chest. You are now in the God position. Bow your head, close your eyes, and feel the strength of the God. Imagine the Egyptian God Osirus, holding his crook and flail. Become one with Him.

Lower your arms once again, and begin to calm and relax your body, starting at the top of your head. Work your way down, pushing the negative energy and stress from the day out through your body. Feel every inch of your body become calm and soothed.

Now imagine your feet becoming roots like a tree, anchoring themselves and branching out through the ground. Feel the vibrations of the Earth. Give yourself to these energies. Let Mother Earth take all your stress and negative energy...She will take care of it. Feel yourself becoming one with the Earth and the Universe.

Imagine a white ball of light consuming your feet. Feel them enveloped within the warmth of this protective energy. Allow this energy to travel up through your body, caressing you, uplifting you. Call upon this light to protect you, fully consuming your entire body.

Pull your newly awakened self and its positive energies in towards your center, your stomach, also know as the Solar Plexus. As the energy builds, feel it beginning to glow as a soft, golden light. Begin to awaken yourself, feeling refreshed and more alive than you ever have. You are now grounded and centered.

Chris' Spectacular Grounding and Centering

Stand with your arms at your side and clear your mind. Begin taking deep breaths and as you inhale raise your arms up a few inches with each inhalation. Like when making a snow angel.

When both your arms are above your head imagine a fire sweeping from the south and igniting the base of your feet.

As the flames intensify imagine that you are melting down into a puddle.

When you imagine that you've completely melted down into a puddle, you, the puddle, have extinguished the fire. Feel what it's like to be loose and unrestrained. Be the puddle. Let the feeling of this state become absorbed into you as you stand in peace and silence.

Clear your mind for a few seconds.

Imagine that you begin to grow into a tree from the puddle form. Feel your arms growing into branches and your legs growing into roots that deeply penetrate the ground. Take in the calm coolness of the Earth become one with her. Feel the Earth and feel what she feels; be her and absorb her.

When you've stopped growing stand still with your arms dangling like branches and take some deep breaths.

After some deep breaths slowly bring yourself back to consciousness new and reborn and assume your human form. At this point you may proceed with your plans.
