Stand with your feet firmly on the ground. Make sure the outside of the feet are parallel.. Wiggle your toes. Inhale and push up on your toes. Exhale and bring your heels back down to the ground. Do this several times. Now breath deeply and inhale the energy of the Earth. Imagine it spiraling up from the center of the Earth through your feet, especially your big toes, your ankles, and up along the sides of your legs, up inside you and deep in your body, so the Earth energy is dancing along your spine. Imagine it spiralling up, dancing through each energy center. Feel your heart open as the Earth energy dances through you. Imagine the energy spilling out through the top of your head and washing down your back, washing down the outside of your legs and returning to the Earth. Pay close attention to your little toes, as they root into the Earth and the the energy leaves through your toes and returns to the Earth. Once you are conscious of that energy as it dances through you and returns to the Earth, bring your attention to a place about 6 inches above your head. Imagine a warm glowing sun, its rays of light descending on your head and spiralling down through your body, down the spine. Imagine your spine open and breathing. There is a grounding cord extending from the base of your spine into the Earth. The sky energy leaves your body, returns to the Earth and is reabsorbed into the sky.
Bring your attention to your breath and as you breathe in and out imagine the double spiral dancing through your body, deeply connecting you to heaven and earth. Sense the energy in your heart as it opens to receive the Earth and sky energy. Keep breathing and remember your toes and feet. Acknowledge the grounding cord. In this way you can move more fully into your body. It is your sacred space. No one can violate you. It is your body. Breathe deeply and feel your feet connected to the Earth. Feel the grounding cord connecting you to the Earth. Let your shoulders relax, feel the weight of your arms and hands. Feel the weight of your hips as they relax. Feel the Earth energy supporting your feet, your legs, your body. Receive the energy of the sky. Breathe deeply and be one with the Earth and sky.
