I would like to stress to everyone who is not familiar with working dogs and has never been around a police or protection dog, that these dogs are not vicious, mean, or "crazy" dogs. They are stable, highly trained professionals. These dogs are not different from the police officer you see on the streets. The police officer is not just a man with a gun turned loose to do a job. He was trained and highly skilled, as are these dogs. They were not beaten or abused, or deprived of food or water in any way during training, on the contrary, they were given love, attention, rewards and praise, the product is the will of the dog to protect the person he loves.
