Two 1999 Season Names RetiredThe 1999 Atlantic Hurricane Season kept all of us on our toes and made sure our disaster supply kits were checked and rechecked. As you might imagine, the name Floyd has been retired from the recycled name lists along with Lenny from last year. As you may recall, Hurricane Lenny also became a category 4 storm and ravaged parts of the Carribean. The name Floyd well be replaced with Franklin, while Lenny will be replaced with Lee, beginning in 2005, when that list of names is reused.
