Velvet, my domestic short-hair, is my pride and joy. She was a surprise gift from an old friend, but she has turned out to be a wonderful little kitty, even though she thinks she's the boss. :)
Velvet's birthday is March 16, 1998 (yes, thats an approximation) and she loves any type of Fancy Feast, catnip, and those fake little mice that you buy at the store, as long as they're white.
Velvet got her name from the retired Beanie Baby, which I also have. Also, I thought the name was fitting due to her velvety, black fur.
