Talpa is the ruler of the Dynasty, an evil organization which wants to take over our universe. At one time he was human but his evilness when he died turned him into a demon. The Dynasty is located in the Nether Realm (Demon Realm), which is an alternate universe. Talpa has made his presence known in our universe a few times including during the samurai period in Japan. He was defeated by the Ancient and sent back to his realm. Over time he gathered disciples and waited until the time was right to strike again. His Dark Warlords were coaxed into his control by the temptation of power. Present time (about 1988) he makes his move again with his four Dark Warlords and army. This time it is up to the Ronins to stop him. At one point in time he had even absorbed all of the armors from both the Ronins and the Dark Warlords possessing all nine and great strength. The Ronins eventually escaped and it took there combined effort to destroy Talpa. Ryo's spirit held him in place while the others attacked. The Jewel of Life around Yuli's neck brought Ryo back to life.
