 Schultzy a Miniature Schnauzer This is Schultzy, he was our dog. Actually he thought he was a person and the head of the family. He was 7 years old when this picture was taken. In 1992 we didn't have a dog. Bob didn't know what to get Nancy for Christmas that year, so he kept asking and always got the same answer, "All I want is a puppy dog". Well Bob did see an ad for Schnauzer puppies in the paper and one day in early December he went and looked at the puppies but decided against the idea of getting a dog. On Christmas Eve as presents were being put under the tree Nancy said quite forlornly, "I guess I'm not getting a dog". Bob finally gave in and went to the phone and called the place that he had visited and asked if they still had the one puppy left? When the answer was yes, he told Nancy to get in the car and off they went to pick up Schultzy. The rest is history. On Nov. 16, 2004, Schultzy died from cancer. We still miss him! |
