I am descendant of William Warner-baptized Oct. 20, 1594, Boxted, Essex County, England in 1637. Settled in Ipswih Massachusettes. Had 3 children, do not have names except for John= born in England about 1616. Married but name of wife unknown. Had 4 children one of them was Mark who married Priscilla Symonds, daughter of Mark Symonds of Ipswich and had six children. Came from Ipswich to Brookfield, thence to Hadley, Massachusettes

One of the children was Mark who came about 1687 from Hadley to Northampton. Married Dec 8, 1671 Abigail Montague, daughter of Richard Montague of Hadley. She died Feb6, 1705. He married widow Mary Root of Westfield who died 1732. He returned to Northhampton where he died 1738 at age 92. Had 2 children, one of whom was

Mark b. 1677 married 1701 to Lydia daughter of Nathaniel Phelps who died Nov. 19, 1765 in 83rd year. He died Aug 3, 1766 age 89. Had 11 children. He seems to have lived in Northhampton.

Son of Mark was Mark born Dec. 21, 1712; m. Aug.25, 1737 Experience Wright. He died May 1755, age 42. She died May 21, 1768 age 53. 12 children, 4 of whom died young.

Son Elijah born March 1747, married Mary first wife: don't have last name. Wife 2 was Hannah Litchfield (intentions published in Chesterfield, Massachussettes April 11, 1775. He was on April 30, l775 in "Scituate" (I don't know what this means, could be mispelling...taken from letter to my grandfather in the 1920's telling him about his Warner lineage.) He was one of a party of more than 50 minute men who set out from Chesterfield and reached Boston the Tuesday following the battles of Concord and Lexington. 11 children by second wife. Probably two by first.

Said Warner, warrant for pay allowed in council Sept. 12, 1776; also list of men raised for Continental service (year not given) residence Chesterfield; engaged for town of Chesterfield, term of eight months.

Son Elijah, Jr. b. Dec. 26, 1788 in Chesterfield, married Roxy Thwing. 5 children, one of whom was: Isaac, born in LeRoy NY married Elizabeth Hewes who was born July25, 1816. A son was James R. born in LeRoy, NY, June 24, 1848
He married Alice C. Shippen, Medina, NY b. Sept. 2, 1850 A son was: Frank Byron Warner b. Middleport, NY Nov 9, 1877 Married Martha Remington Wheeler, b. Jan, 1882. They were my dad's parents; my father was named after his father.

This is probably way more than you wish to know, but I hope that it helps in your research in some way.
