From "Marriage Bonds of Ontario, 1803-1834, Marriage Bonds, 1832":
  THORP, David Lewis, of Fredericksburg, merchant, & Lydia Jane BARKER,
of Hallowell, spr.  b: Thomas WILSON, merchant, and Joseph WILSON,
gentleman, both of Kingston.  15 Mar 1832 at Kingston

From "The Ontario Register, Volume V, Globe, Toronto, 1844-1849" [death notice]:
  30 Jan, 1847; At Picton, on 30th ult [Dec 1846], David L. THORP, of
that town, aged 40.

I note also that a David THORPE, of South Dorchester married an Alice
WILKINSON, of Woodstock.  [Rev. Wm Scott] on the 10th of Nov 1847
[subsequent to above death notice]
