This is the descendence of Elias RICE.  I have more information on my ancestor, Elizabeth, if you want another FGS let me know and I'll e-mail it to you.  I have included some questions I have and why I have come to some of my conclusions:

1. Elias1 RICE [1219], born <1760/70 He married (1) bef 1794 Mrs Elias (Catherine?) RICE [2707], born Cal 1765/1785; (2) bef 1832 Jane ROGERS [1220], born abt 1771 in , Hampshire, Virginia, daughter of Matthew ROGERS [1221] and Jane BLACKBURN [4486].
 
Notes for Elias RICE:
        Identified as being born in Wales on census records of his dau Elizabeth from a set of books about Kentucky, possibly "Kentucky Probate and Land Grants", has many entries listing "Elias RICE and wife Jane RICE, formerly Jane ROGERS, of Crawford Co., IL" giving power of attorney to James ROGERS in Sep and Nov of 1833.
         Breckenridge (VA or KY?) 1810 census = 2 m b 1794-1800 (I think Wm & Chas), 1
m 45+ (Elias), 2 f under 10 (Catherine & Susannah), 1 f 26-45 (1st wife).
Other RICE families:  Jacob (1 m 10-16, 1 m 45+, 1 f 45+), Jonaathan (1 m 16-26, 1 f under 10, 1 f 16-26), Mary (1 f under 10, 1 f 16-26), Thomas (1 m under 10, 2 m 16-26, 1 m 45+, 1 f 10-16, 2 f 16-26, 1 f 45+).
           1820 census = 1 m 1804-1810 (I think John), 1 m 45+ (Elias), 2 f 1810-1820 (Elizabeth & who?), 3 f 1800-1810 (Catherine & Susannah & who?).
 
Questions:
  Is Jane ROGERS RUBY, wid/of Asa RUBY, mother to Elias' children?  IIf so, where were her RUBY children in 1810 and 1820 census?  Jane's RUBY children were James b 1791, Matthew was b 1792, Peter was b 1794, Serena Jane was b 1796, Sarah was b 1799, Nancy was b 1801.
 
Need to find Jane on 1810 census.
 
Notes for Jane ROGERS
        In the Nelson County Pioneer, Winter 1980, I found reference to Nancy ROGERS
BAILEY w/o Capt. John BAILEY.  Nancy was a sister of Matthew ROGERS.  She d 1833 in Illinois, surviving her huband who d 1822.  Since Nancy was John's only heir (they had no children), her brothers and sisters became her heirs. The Circuit Court of Nelson County KY determined that the only siblings with living heirs were her brothers Col. James ROGERS, William ROGERS, and
Matthew ROGERS, all deceased.  Listed as descendents of Matthew was "...Jane RICE
(wife of Elias RICE)."

Children of Elias RICE and Mrs Elias (Catherine?) RICE were as follows:
        2       i       William C2 RICE [5017], born <1790/1800.   birth year based on 1830
census, shown as head of household
        3       ii      Daniel C2 RICE [5016], born <1794/1800.  He married on 31 Dec 1825 in ,
Hardin, Kentucky Lucinda PENNELL [5006], daughter of John PENNELL [4498]. birth year calculated from comparison of 1810,1820,1830 census and his marriage date (I felt he was older than his brother John who married 10 years later).
        4       iii     Susannah2 RICE [5010], born <1800/10.  She married on 23 Mar 1829 in , Hardin, Kentucky Jacob HART [4061].
        5       iv      John C2 RICE [729], born <1804/10.  He married on 29 Nov 1835 Hardin,
Kentucky Mary ROGERS [4111].   birth year calculated from comparison of 1810,1820,1830 census and his marriage date (I felt he was younger than his brother Charles who married 10 years earlier).
        6       v       Catherine2 RICE [5023], born abt 1807.  She married on 18 Oct 1828 in ,
Hardin, Kentucky James A PANE [4161].
+       7       vi      Elizabeth2 RICE [1184] (Elias1), born 24 Jan 1814 in , Kentucky.  She
married on 15 Mar 1832 in , Hardin, Kentucky Peter BAYSINGER [1183], born 13 Apr 1808 in , Rockingham, Virginia; died 9 Sep 1886 in , Weld (?), Colorado, son of Casper BESINGER [1214] and Eve SNIDER [1215].

This is what I have on Jane RODGERS and Asa RUBY.

1. Asa1 RUBY [4475], born 3 Jul 1769 in , , Virginia; died 1803 He married Jane ROGERS [1220], born abt 1771 in , Hampshire, Virginia, daughter of Matthew ROGERS [1221] and Jane BLACKBURN [4486].

        3       ii      Peter2 RUBY [4478], born 26 Jan 1794 in , , Pennsylvania; died 26 Jan 1794.   Some researchers say Peter d 1822.  However, in will of Asa RUBY, Book A, page 28, Probate Court, dated 2 May 1803 "...my two sons and three daughters; James, Mathew, Jane, Sally, and Nancy."  Evidence that Peter was deceased by this time.  (History of The Rubi-Ruby Families of Switzerland and America" by J.W. 4. Serena Jane2 RUBY [4479] (Asa1), born 27 Feb 1796 in , , Kentucky.  She married in 1814 in , Breckenridge, Kentucky Valentine BESINGER [2323], born 1 Mar 1796 in , Rockingham, Virginia, son of Johan "Peter" BESINGER [1217] and Barbara SCHNEIDER [1218].

Children of Serena Jane RUBY and Valentine BESINGER were as follows:
