I have in my possession a letter from a Cora Ingersoll Whitting in which she asks about Adna B (Beach) Reynolds first wife's maiden name. ( I believe that it was Riggs).  Through this letter I have realized that Nancy Emeline Ingersoll was my great-great grandfather's sister.  On your ancestor chart you do not know Adna's middle name nor the last name of his wife or of his mother.
According to my great grandmother and Mrs. Whitting the maiden name of his wife was Riggs and his mother's name was Beach. (He was named after his mother.)  I also know that there were three children by this marriage.  I hope that I haven't confused you too much and hope that this can be of help.  If you know anything more could you please let me know?

Also according to Mrs Whitting she had a page of records from a family bible.
If you know Mrs. Whitting's family maybe they would still have these papers and they could be of help.

Good luck!

Nancy Emeline had a sister "Lucy" and brother "Adna Harrison Reynolds".  I think that there also was a girl by the name of Angeline Phoebe Reynolds she was about 18 when she died.  I don't know who her mother was.  My line is through Adna Harrison Reynolds.  Adna Beach Reynolds had two wives.
According to Mrs. Whitting  Adna and his second wife had a son named Jacob.  I would
say that if you know Cora Ingersoll Whitting's family they may still have papers giving the information on the Riggs and Beach families.  In the letter to my great grandmother she mentions  the family papers with the name Abner Riggs and says that his wife's name is there and several of his children.  One of them she thought was Adna Beach's wife but didn't know which one.  She also
says that she had the service record of Abner Riggs who was in the Revolutionary War and of Adna Beach Reynolds who was in the War of 1812.

Adna Beach Reynolds had a son Adna Harrison Reynolds.  Adna Harrison Reynolds married Ann Cathron (Catherine) Haines.  They had at least 6 children:
Margaret Ann (Reynolds) Stowell,
Adna Harrison Reynolds,Jr,
Emma Elizabeth(who may have actually been named for Emeline) (Reynolds) West Stowell,
Marian Augusta (Reynolds) George,
William Riggs Reynolds
and my grt. grandmother Anna Mabel (Reynolds) Mason.

Hope that this helps you some more.  The only other thing is that none of the letters or records spell the name Adna as you do.  Who knows since in those days everything was phonetic.  You will notice that Ann Catherine Haines had two spellings to her name and Cathron has survived in my family.  Let me know if you find out anything more.

Going through more letters from my great grandmother (Anna Mabel Reynolds Mason) I found the following information:  "Adna Beach Reynolds was born December 25, 1794 .... died May 1, 1852".  Adna Harrison Reynolds was named for a friend of Adna Beach Reynolds (the President of the US).  "Father's mother (meaning Adna Harrison Reynolds) died very young - He was brought up
by a step mother.  I do not know her name - Father always spoke well of her.  She was a school teacher and she it was who determined the boys should be professional men.  Father was educated for the ministry.  I understand he had a half sister and half brothers.  I remember mother and my sister Emma speak of Jacob Reynolds and  N? Reynolds who was a Presbyterian minister living
in California."  She goes on to say that the Beach and Riggs families were engaged in the lumber business in the northern part of the state.  I don't know what state we are talking about as her handwriting is not clear.

She also makes mention of the name "Savage" on the Reynolds side (father) and wonders if this isn't a family somehow related.  She seems to think that there is some kind of connection.

Hope that this can help you and that if I find anything more I'll let you know.  If you learn anything please let me know.
