Jack Dole here, I am a step cousin to the Ingersoll family.  If we have any kin in the list of Benjamin Ingersoll that married Hanna Somers Dole widow of Joseph Dole who died April 2, 1726, I have some data from the family bible that would be of Interest.

Benjamin Ingersoll/Ingersul/Engersul born April 21, 1705, [Huntington, LI] married Hanna Somers Dole Jan 28 1727/28 [ACHS date].  They had Hanna Ingersoll born October 11, 1727, (we also have a Hanna Ingersoll born October
11, 1731) and Mary Ingersoll born Oct 5, 1729.  After Hanna Somers Dole Ingersoll died Feb. 24 1736/37 we have an entry for Susannah Ingersul [Steelman] born Sept. 25, 1721.  There is another Hanna Ingersoll born April
24, 1737.

I have, from some source, Hanna1727 married Jonathan Doughty and Mary1729 married Nicholas Soey/Sooy.

I was looking for some data the other day and ran across something that you all can help with, maybe.  I have a John Ingersoll that married Sarah Dole in 1736, daughter of Joseph Dole and Hanna Somers.  I have the parents of Benjamin to be Daniel and Elizabeth Champion Ingersoll.  I have the parents of John to be Daniel and Elizabeth (Unknown) Ingersoll.  Is it possible that brothers married the widow Hanna and the daughter, Sarah.  Any feed back from the group?

Another entry that I may have mentioned before, I have an Andrew Mart born the 18th day of October 1734.  I really, really, really want to find a home for poor ol' Andrew and not worry about his place in life any more.  Any takers??
