My records: Daniel Hollinshead born 1683 at Leicestershire, England. 1st wife Ann ?. Children: Mary born May 11, 1712. Second wife Thomasin Hasil born at Barbadoes, West India. married on April 22, 1716.
Moved to Sussex County in New Jersey. Children of Daniel and Thomasin:
Francis, born Sept. 17, 1718, Died 1796, Eleanor, born Dec. 25, 1719, Thomasin, born July 22, 1721, Daniel, born May 13, 1724, Elizabeth, born Aug. 2, 1726, William, born Oct. 11, 1728 ( my ancester), John, born Oct. 9, 1730.
Eleanor married Samuel Palmer. They had an estate called the Kensington in Philadelphia, Pa.
Elizabeth married Thomas Beans late in life. Thomas was from a place called Abington, its suppose to be near Philadelphia. They had a son named John, but he died at the age of 9.
William married Elizabeth Harvey in 1748. Daughter of James Harvey and Sara Vote. She was born May 5, 1730. Died Nov. 6, 1812. William died Sept. 22, 1808.
William and Elizabeth's children: William born Sept. 27, 1749 died Jan. 15, 1817. Married: Sara McCalla.
Elizabeth born Aug. 3, 1752 died May 31, 1804
Jane born Dec. 15, 1754 died Jan. 15, 1835. married John Duer /also spelled Dever/
Sara born Oct. 24, 1756 died Aug. 5, 1787.
John James (my ancester) born Dec. 31, 1768 died March 5, 1831. Married Sara Stroud on July 13, 1799.
Esther born May 21, 1770 died May 8, 1856. married David Anderson.
Peter born Feb. 13, 1771 died May 15, 1827. married Sara's sister Ann Stroud.
Four children died in infancy: Peter born Oct. 24, 1758 died Sept. 15,
1759, Peter born July 17, 1760 died June 8, 1763, James born Dec. 22, 1762
died June 23, 1763, Esther born March 3, 1766 died Aug. 21, 1767.
Jane Hollinshead/Hollingshead. Born Dec. 15, 1754 married John Duer.
Children: William born Jan. 1774 died Oct. 1828, George S. born May 13,
1775 died Aug. 12, 1786, James born Nov. 26, 1779 died Aug. 2, 1829, John
born March 17, 1781, Thomasin born March 25, 1783, Josiah born June 18,
1769.
