I have more detail on the 4-7 levels. Apparently Aaron Harrell III started his family in Rush Co, IN. My grandfather, Mack Harrell was born in Rush Co.
Brothers Jethro, Aaron II, and Robert, and sister Nancy went by wagon train from NC to areas around Morristown, Shelby Co., IN sometime between 1833 and 1835. The other brother, Samuell, remained in NC. The three men were accompanied by their wives and children. In 1841, Jethro and his family and Deliah moved to Effingham Co., IL. Aaron III and his family followed sometime between 1853 and 1857.
My information comes from research from a deceased cousin, Helen Wacaser, an old family Bible, and Harrell folk lore told repeatedly at the Harrell-Bright reunions in Effingham and Moultrie counties, IL.
I am originally from IL, but presently live in Dallas, TX. As soon as I can get our connection to the UK, which Helen claims to be Wales and I doubt, I plan to publish a book on our genealogy.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Gene Harrell
