Melissa,
Hi, I found your GEDCOM ...I don't remember where..anyway I was looking at the listing for Joseph Gue and noticed that your family line is on the Budd side.
Have you read Benjamine F. Gue's book on his ancestry? It gives a great deal of info on the Budd family. I believe it was John Budd who reached Boston from London in 1635 aboard the ship America. He owned land in South Hold Long Island where he operated a grist mill to grind corn for the community. He also bought another tract of land there which became known as Budd's Neck. His will, dated 10-15-1669 wasn't proven for 4 years and indicates his death in 1670. His wife was Katheren Brown of Kent England. Their son, John married Mary Horton, daughter of Barnabas Horton.  Sarah Budd's grandfather was Joseph Budd, the 2nd son of John and Mary. He was born in or about 1658 in South Hold and married Sarah Underhill, daughter of Captain Humphrey Underhill. Their son Joseph born 1703, married to Anna Lyon was the father of Sarah Budd. Anna's
parents were Joseph Lyon and Sarah Bishop. I have Sarah Budd married to ..
1st. Samuel Dusenbury... 2nd,John Gue(according to wills)... and then to ....Jonathan Griffin of Scarsdale.
I am primarily a GUE researcher. I hope some of this is new to you.
