Thanks so much for your understanding.  Everyone has different research methods.  I just visited your page and spotted several of my own surnames so may get back with you later on those.

Regarding your Alvin Bond Gore, I find the family in our census database as follows, and you probably already have the data but I never know :)

1880 MA Worcester (Leicester)
GORE    Alvin B.                1838 MA
        Martha S.       wife    1841 MA
        Elmer A.        son     1867 MA
        Edward G.       son     1874 son (may have misread S as G)
Noted as living with Atison A. Austin.

I see that the MA census records are not all entered so don't have the prior years that might show Alvin with his parents.

We cross reference the census database with the lineage databases and I don't find an indication that your family is entered yet.  We would certainly welcome any information you can share with us that could be added.
