Hi Melissa,
I've been going over your file and I've found a few Godfreys that I
have no record of. Do you have a place that Jesse C. Godfrey (1819-1841)
was living in the 1830-40 census? I can check the indexes that I have 'cause
I'd like to be able to tie him in, especially with his wifes name being
Corson. Speaking of Corson, can you send me that womans email address again?
I can't find anything
anymore!
Also, where do you get the date of 1698 as the marriage of Andrew Godfrey and Elizabeth Corson? I had it as 1714 but your date is much more realistic.
I've been going over the census indexes that I do have; weren't you
looking for an Elisha or Elijah Godfrey? I've found an Elijah Godfrey,
Middle Cape May Co. page #002 1810 July assessment tax list;
Elishba Godfrey Upper Cape May page #002 1810 July assessment
tax list;
Elisha Godfrey, Washington Co. IN. 1830 Census, page #330
That's all for now, I have a ton of work to do to combine our common lines :-)
Leslie

Godfrey source. She did all the work back to the 1400's, that she graciously
allowed me to add to my database. Her Webpage is listed on my Links page
