I have recently started a search of my family line.  A second cousin of mine had information for this side of the family.  I was very excited to find our ancestors on your page. Since you do not have Thomas Duer and Ellen Baines descendents  listed, I felt that I could help to fill the void.  I am hoping that you would be able to share other information about Thomas Duer, and any linkage to the Banes/Baines families.  In my line there is another Banes listed.
 

Thomas Duer and Ellen Banes gave birth to a son,
    Joseph Duer, b. March 13, 1704/05

        Joseph Duer had a son Joseph, b. October 1745, d.  1807

    Joseph Duer married Mary Banes
        they gave birth to Charles, b. 1790, d 1873

I will gladly provide other family information if you would like.  I
only have the direct descendents listed in most situations.

Have you been able to find out information of the Duer family in
England, or information such as homesites, church, occupation?

My present residence is in Hawaii, but my family is on the East Coast.
